Soil Probes

We have been appointed NZ agents for T&T Tools based in Michigan USA. T&T make a range of quality sub-surface hand tools. Like Soilmax, T&T use very high quality steel allowing their probes to be light, strong and easy to use. In our soils our teenage daughters can push a probe 1.5 metres into the ground with ease. The tip is the key with two specialised screw-on tips available, pointed for finding solid objects and bullnosed for soft objects like plastic pipes.

T&T’s blue and yellow colours contrast with earth, grass and crops so you’ll be able to find your probe easily on the job. They are a great tool for anyone engineers, farmers, orchardists, drainage contractors, fencers, plumbers, builders and even grave diggers. Anyone who needs to find something underground be it a coffin, pipe or just plain bedrock.

Could you make this tool yourself? Yes, but it wouldn’t be as easy to use and if you didn’t bend it within a month you’d probably drop it in the mud and never find it again. Been there, done that.
